Transition to Telemedicine Now: Starting a Functional Medicine Practice Using Telemedicine

by Dr. Dan Kalish

As we face a crisis of unimaginable proportions those of us in private practice are scrambling to find solutions that will enable us to continue offering patient care. Transitioning to a telemedicine based practice solves many significant problems. You can set up lab accounts and have lab kits shipped directly to patients and patients can collect salivary, urine and stool samples at home and ship them back without having to leave the house. Practitioners can then use a telemedicine consultation to review results and prescribe supplement programs and lifestyle changes over the phone. Safe for all involved. Kalish Institute will be offering a free series of webinars and Facebook live events to explain the basics behind shifting to a telemedicine model. More to come.
